This project won an award from GCHQ for Highest and Best Dissertation Grade of 2009, within the Computing Department at the University of Gloucestershire. This award was presented at my graduation.
This is my biggest personal project I’ve been involved with for which I achieved 80% as my final year grade at University.
It demonstrates a unique system that allows users (in particular Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs)), to manage a database of patients.
It’s a combination of Flash AS3, PHP/MySQL and Adobe Flash Media Server 3.
It’s primary application is to provide a system that allows the patient to remotely record themselves via web cam and in turn, for the SLT to review and provide feedback.
The application is split into two specific packages, one for the SLT and one for the patient.
Implications for commercialisation is currently under development.
